NOTE 2: This takes place roughly two weeks after the ending of Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis.
It's been two weeks since the destruction of Raccoon City. The last remnants of the T-Virus' effects have literally been wiped off the face of the earth. Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, the two survivors of the 'experiment', went their separate ways after the incident. Jill went out in search of another former S.T.A.R.S. member, Chris Redfield. As for Carlos, he hasn't been seen since. Unfortunately, Umbrella decided not to let the destruction of Raccoon City deter them. Several high-ranking executives within the corporation have begun talks with terrorist groups about distribution of the virus. All that remains is a final test...the nightmare is not over yet.
October 15 - Another uneventful birthday has come and gone. I'm starting to wonder if anything exciting will ever happen in this town. There was an envelope for me in the mail this morning. It says something about being part of a test group for a new interactive game created by some corporation called Umbrella. I wasn't very interested...until I saw the last paragraph. They'd pay me $500 just to be a test subject. That's all I needed to know. After checking in with the parentals, I made my way to one of their corporate offices. Now, I'm on my way to their testing facilities. There's just one thing that bothers me: what did they mean when the contract said, "Be prepared..."?
